A new film starring Kapil Sharma could be censored by Indian authorities because it contains gay sex scenes. Dunno Y... Na Jaane Kyun is the first Indian film to feature a sex scene between two men.

According to Digital Spy, "Director Sanjay Sharma was asked to remove the sequence featuring leads Sharma and Yuvraaj Parasher, Bollywood Hungama has reported."

Karpal expressed surprise that the censors would be scandalized.

"The ones in my film are very aesthetic," he told Bollywood Hungama, as reported by Digital Spy. "And so what if it's two men making love? Love is love regardless of gender."

The film has been resubmitted to the revising committee with hope of keeping the gay sex scenes.
