10. TV: Staten Island Cakes
The latest cake-related reality show, which begins baking June 21 on WE, focuses on Vinny Buzzetta, the 21-year-old executive pastry chef and owner of the Cake Artist, Staten Island's go-to bakery for weddings and other special occasions. Expect to see a lot of Vinny's big Italian family -- Vinny still lives at home and his mother and sister work in the shop -- as well as Vinny's boyfriend, choreographer Spiro Grammatikopoulos.

9. THEATER: Homosexuals
As part of its 15th anniversary season, About Face Theatre -- a Chicago company specializing in new works exploring gender and sexual identity -- stages the world premiere of Philip Dawkins's play about a young gay man who meets a circle of friends and lovers on his first night in a new Midwestern city. Inspired by Mart Crowley's The Boys in the Band, it opens June 19 at the Victory Gardens Richard Christiansen Theater.

8. DVD: Beyond Gay: The Politics of Pride
In Bob Christie's powerful documentary, which is out and proud June 20 on DVD, cameras follow Canadian pride festival planner Ken Coolen and his colleagues as they travel around the world to explore the joyous parades, the saddening prejudice, and the often violent outbreaks of opposition that accompany a variety of gay pride events in such cities as Colombo, Sao Paulo, Moscow, Zurich, Vancouver, and New York City.

7. THEATER: The Interlopers
Set among a makeshift family of misfits within the transgender community of Los Angeles, the world premiere of Gary Lennon's play about identity and self-acceptance opens June 17 at L.A.'s Bootleg Theater. Directed by Trick's Jim Fall, the Romeo and Juliet-inspired story stars out Noah's Arc alum Darryl Stephens, who leads a cast that includes Leandro Cano, Paul Elia, Tara Karsian, Diarra Kilpatrick, and Trevor Peterson.

6. TV: RuPaul's Drag U
Headmaster RuPaul and his drag queen faculty return June 20 to Logo for a second semester of schooling women on how to reconnect with their inner divas. Drag Race favorites Bebe Zahara Benet, Pandora Boxx, Carmen Carrera, Jujubee, Manila Luzon, Mariah, Morgan McMichaels, Ongina (pictured), Raven, Tyra Sanchez, and Shannel join Dean of Drag Lady Bunny and celebrity guests like Molly Ringwald and Jane Wiedlin.

5. THEATER: Unnatural Acts
After the success of last summer's FringeNYC favorite Veritas, a new play emerges off-Broadway about the true story of Harvard's investigation and persecution of a group of gay students in 1920 -- a long-buried campus scandal unearthed in 2002. Conceived and directed by Tony Speciale and created by members of the Plastic Theatre, the play opens June 23 at Classic Stage Company with a cast led by Roderick Hill and Nick Westrate.

4. BOOK: See a Little Light: The Trail of Rage and Melody, Bob Mould
Bob Mould's inspirational new autobiography details a small-town boy's struggles with addiction and long journey to self-acceptance as a gay man, but it rocks hardest when candidly chronicling the bear icon's influential music career, from his explosion onto the scene with '80s punk band Husker Du to his cocreation of the DJ duo Blowoff. 3. BOOK: Transparent, Don Lemon
Having been at the forefront of coverage of Hurricane Katrina, Barack Obama's election, and the African AIDS epidemic, CNN's Emmy-winning journalist Don Lemon made headlines of his own when he came out as the victim of a male pedophile and, more recently, as a gay man. In his just-released memoir, Lemon looks back at how he overcame pain and discrimination in Louisiana to become one of the most prominent faces of TV news.

2. FILM: Frameline35
The 35th anniversary season of San Francisco's LGBT film festival runs through June 26 with the following highlights (pictured clockwise from top left): the world premiere of Longhorns, David Lewis's '80s-set comedy about horny Texan frat boys; Bite Marks, Mark Bessenger's gay vampire buddy comedy; the Chely Wright documentary Wish Me Away; and August, Eldar Rapaport's drama about two L.A. lovers tangled in a threesome.

1. EVENT: Broadway Bares XXI: Masterpiece
Executive-produced by Jerry Mitchell, the world's biggest burlesque benefit -- which has raised millions for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS -- returns June 19 at New York's Roseland Ballroom. This year's theme invites cultured voyeurs to ogle the hottest Broadway chorus boys and girls in cheekily choreographed strip-teases inspired by erotic art. Look for appearances by Rory O'Malley, David Hyde Pierce, and Christopher Sieber.
