Davion Johnson has been arrested and charged with armed robbery for a series of shocking Grindr encounters.

The 20-year-old has been linked to three attacks in which he allegedly met up with men in Chicago hotel rooms through the gay dating app and then, after displaying a taser, demanded they surrender their cash and valuables.

The Associated Press reports that, since November, there have been five robberies committed in this fashion in downtown Chicago. In two instances, the stun gun was used against victims who refused to give the robber their money, according to a Tuesday announcement from the Chicago Police Department.

One of the alleged victims, who is 42, reported to police in January that his telephone, credit cards, and money were stolen by a man he met digitally on Grindr and then in-person at his hotel.
