“People immediately started scouring their desks of Pride flags, anything personal in nature,” after Kash Patel terminated him, David Maltinsky told The Advocate.
“The military has made me who I am. It has made me a better person,” Master Sergeant Logan Ireland told The Advocate. “All that I wish is for the military to see that and to honor that same sacrifice that I’ve given.”
“I hope the Supreme Court halts further attempts by public officials to use their personal faith to deny others their civil and human rights,” the civil rights icon told The Advocate.
“It is not a violation of these canons for a judge to publicly refrain from performing a wedding ceremony based upon a sincerely held religious belief,” the Texas Supreme Court ruled.
