Feminist band Le Tigre, lead by front woman Kathleen Hanna and featuring out performers JD Samson and Johanna Fateman, released their first music video in 12 years. The trio was brought back together by Hillary Clinton.
In the incredibly earnest song, Hanna reminds viewers repeatedly that Clinton has had to work "twice as hard as any man." In the electro-pop tune, Fateman sings of Clinton: "She doesn't bake cookies, she doesn't play golf, and the whole world is watching her persistent cough."
The video features footage from protests and gay rights demonstrations and urges fans to vote on November 8.

        Just before casting my vote in the 2024 election in my hometown in South Carolina, I turned on Brandi Carlile’s “The Joke” from her album By the Way I Forgive You, which was written in the aftermath of Donald Trump’s 2016 win. I needed to listen to it before I went into the voting booth.
