Multiple Grammy winner Brandi Carlile has teamed with Maren Morris, Amanda Shires, and Natalie Hembly to form the Highwomen, a supergroup of roots artists who released their first video for "Redesigning Women" last week and who played their first gig at the Newport Folk Festival this weekend. And they started out with a bang when the legendary Dolly Parton joined them on stage to sing a few numbers including "Jolene" and a heartrending duet of "I Will Always Love You" with Carlile.
Megaproducer Linda Perry also shared a video of Parton with the Highwomen singing a stripped-down version of "Eagle When She Flies" on her Instagram, which had social media users begging for even more collaboration.
