Fans protest "Leonard & Larry" cancellation
Fans of the long-running comic strip "Leonard & Larry" are organizing a letter campaign to keep the feature in Frontiers magazine, where it has run for years. Tim Barela's strip, which previously ran in The Advocate, deals with a middle-aged gay couple in West Hollywood, Calif., and their extended circle of friends and family. The "Leonard & Larry" strip has been anthologized in three popular collections to date and is considered one of the most popular GLBT comics in production. Information about the campaign is available at the strip's Web site, www.LeonardandLarry.com.
