Pie Town Productions adds three executive positions, expands reality TV programming

Lesbian-owned, Los Angeles-based Pie Town Productions has added three executive positions as the company gears up to increase its reality TV production over the next two years. Founded in 1995, Pie Town has produced more than 1,600 episodes of programming in formats that include daily series, network specials, and weekly reality shows. Execs moving into newly created positions are Eric Black as creative director, Sean Fitzgibbons as executive in charge of production, and Dana Besnoy as director of post production. The three most recently worked on the Pie Town-Paramount domestic TV syndicated series Life Moments. With 11 series on the air, including eight on HGTV, Pie Town is set to produce 100-plus episodes of HGTV's three top-rated shows, Design on a Dime, House Hunters, and Designers' Challenge. Pie Town is also producing pilots for VH1, CMT and A&E.
