AIDInfo launches new live help Web service
The Department of Health and Human Services' AIDS Web site, AIDSInfo, has launched a new service called Live Help that offers confidential one-on-one Internet assistance through an instant-message-like format. Trained specialists staff the service from Monday through Friday, noon to 4 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. They can provide information and referrals to AIDS hotlines, publications, Web sites, and other HIV resources. AIDSInfo was created to provide government-approved information on HIV treatment and prevention guidelines, anti-HIV treatments, new anti-HIV drug and vaccine research, and a comprehensive list of medication and vaccine clinical trials. For more information, visit the Web site at www.aidsinfo.nih.gov.
