Saved! director tackles Cyrano story
Out writer-director of Saved! Brian Dannelly has signed on to develop Sobini Films' The Guided Man. Described as a modern Cyrano story, Guided Man is a romantic comedy about an introverted guy who comes to rely on a service that allows someone to see, hear, feel, and speak through him in order to give him confidence around women. The project is based on a 1952 story by L. Sprague De Camp and was adapted for the big screen by Steve Adams (Envy). Dannelly will further develop the script with his writing partner Michael Urban. The filmmakers are eyeing an early 2005 start.
