Actress Jennifer
Love Hewitt will host "The Envelope Please,"
an Oscar night party that serves as a fund-raiser for
AIDS Project Los Angeles, on March 5 at the Abbey Food
and Bar in West Hollywood, Calif. The event is
cohosted by Esquire magazine and Clear Channel
L.A. Also scheduled to attend the fund-raiser are actors
Jesse Garcia, Emily Rios, and Chalo Gonzalez and
filmmakers Wash Westmoreland and Richard Glatzer. The
host committee includes Lauralee Bell, Bill Brochtrup,
Wilson Cruz, Taylor Dayne, Deborah Gibson, Laura Harring,
Kate Linder, Roma Maffia, Ming-Na, Michael Moloney,
Kathy Najimy, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Hal Sparks, and Nia
Vardalos. Party attendees will enjoy a dinner and
viewing of the Academy Award telecast. A dance will follow
the awards ceremony. The black-tie event begins at 4
p.m. at the Abbey, 692 N. Robertson Blvd. in West
