Manhattan Children's Theatre presents an updated musical version of Jack & the Beanstalk, with book, music, and lyrics by Karl Greenberg and out musician Dave Hall. The show runs Saturdays and Sundays from April 8 through May 21 at 52 White St., two blocks south of Canal Street between Broadway and Church streets in TriBeCa. Jack is an artist seeking to avoid steady work when he happens upon a beanstalk in Brooklyn that might or might not be the answer to his wishes. For tickets and information call (212) 352-3101.
