A man was arrested Thursday morning for the shooting death of Denver businessman John "JP" Kelso. Timothy Boham, 25, was spotted and then approached by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers just feet away from the Mexican border in Arizona. When he was questioned, authorities said he surrendered peacefully, telling authorities there was a warrant for his arrest in Denver.

Kelso, 43, had a profitable career in debt recovery and was openly gay. He was a philanthropist, giving away hundreds of thousands of dollars to charities around the world. Denver police said Boham was hired by Kelso when he left the porn industry about a year ago. Any relationship between the two is unknown.

The Denver Post reports that Boham was known to hate gays although he acted in more than a dozen gay adult films. (The Advocate)
