arts celebration, December 9 in L.A.

Arts organization Create:Fixate, along with The Onion and KCRW, will present "Alive in Los Angeles" on December 9 in celebration of the group's five-year anniversary. More than 30 visual and aural artists will contribute works to the show. Admission to the gallery preview (4-7 p.m.) is $5 and $15 for the show (7 p.m.-2 a.m.); children are admitted free before 7 p.m. "Alive in Los Angeles" will take place at 1530 Ivar Ave. in Hollywood.
