Documentary filmmaker Joe Cultrera's Hand of God tells the intimate story of his brother Paul's molestation in the 1960s by Father Joseph Birmingham, who reportedly abused nearly 100 other children as he was moved from parish to parish by the Roman Catholic Church. Paul kept his secret for three decades before he decided to confront the church and launch his own investigation into how the archdiocese of Boston covered up the allegations, betraying the faith of its community. Hand of God premieres January 16 on PBS at 9 p.m. Eastern time. For more information go to pbs.org/frontline/handofgod.
