An LGBT retirement community was approved unanimously by the Palm Springs, Calif., Architectural Advisory Committee Monday. According to The Desert Sun, a local newspaper, Rainbow Vision, a 186-unit condominium project, will move to the planning commission for further review. The complex is being spearheaded by architectural firm GMID, landscape architects RGA Landscape Artists, and developer Desert Green Consultants.

According to the project's Web site, the complex will include the Billie Jean King Fitness Center, a spa, a restaurant, and a nightclub. (The Advocate)
