Need three credits and something stellar to do this summer? Don't worry, The Advocate's got your back.
This summer thousands of college students will embark on a journey of learning, making copies, and earning credits. While the internship is an integral part of the collegiate experience, certain ones provide special opportunity for LGBT students to learn about their heritage and join the fight for equality. But where does one start? How does one apply for an internship? Where will you live if you have to leave the farm? And how the heck do you pay for an apartment in a big city on a student's salary?
A few Advocate staffers got together to compile a handy guide for intern candidates on the GenQ blog. This week, February 19-22, we will post a new part of the guide each day to help you in the process.
