Poll: 81% of LGBT
Voters Support Obama

Of LGBT likely voters, 81% prefer Barack Obama, according to polls conducted by Harris Interactive, a leading public opinion research company. Only 16% of them expressed a preference for John McCain as president. The numbers show a drastic difference from the month of August, when only 68% of LGBT voters claimed to prefer Obama and 10% sided with McCain.

The numbers show a drastic difference from the month of August, when only 68% of LGBT voters claimed to prefer Obama and 10% sided with McCain.

Among the 231 LGBT voters who answered the nationwide survey online, 58% claimed to be "extremely interested" in the presidential election. (Thibault Chareton, The Advocate)
