First California and then the United States. Now, on the heels of rallies and protests all across the country, a group of panelists will gather at Los Angeles's Gay and Lesbian Center for a broadcast forum discussing Proposition 8 -- accessible all over the world.

The same-sex marriage ban, which passed with a slim majority in the November 4 election, has sparked heated discussion across the country, with proponents of equal rights taking to the streets and gathering in rallies en masse.

Tonight's 90-minute town hall will be hosted by noted gay journalist Karen Ocamb, who will lead the panel in a discussion on "Prop. 8: The Facts and Future."

Several Prop. 8 experts will join Ocamb, including Gay and Lesbian Center CEO Lorri Jean, Equality California executive director Geoff Kors, and Amy Balliett, the 26-year-old activist who coordinated the nationwide Prop. 8 protests through her website, JointheImpact.com.
