President Obama, possibly responding to criticism over his resistance to an executive order barring the hiring of federal contractors who discriminate against LGBT people, tweeted an extensive list of his gay-related accomplishments.

On the same day that he announced support for federal legislation banning harassment and bullying of students, the president released the lengthy description of his LGBT wins, including ending discrimination in the armed forces and a national hate crimes bill.
