Heather Locklear's much-publicized return to Melrose Place didn't do much for the ratings.
Though the CW is boasting that the show had its "highest ratings since October 6," Locklear's big debut Tuesday night gained Melrose Place only a little over 100,000 viewers over last week's episode.
The show still landed in dead last place for the evening and was watched by 1.5 million viewers. Producers were hoping Locklear's presence would help boost ratings for the struggling show as she did when she debuted on the original Melrose Place, turning that show into a huge hit for Fox.
