Actor Kelsey Grammer will star in the Broadway revival of Jerry Herman's drag musical La Cage aux Folles, reports the New York Post. The Emmy award-winning star of long-running sitcoms Cheers and Frasier will portray Georges, a nightclub proprietor, opposite British actor Douglas Hodge as Albin, his high-strung drag-performing lover. The musical, noted for introducing the gay anthem "I Am What I Am," is expected to open in April.
