Brandy Defends Ray J Over Gay Rumors

R&B singer Brandy is not taking too kindly to rumors spread that her little brother Ray J is gay.

Monica "Danger" Leon, from the Bachelor-like reality show For the Love of Ray J, claims the rapper and friend Young Buck (not the better known hip-hop artist of the same name) are longtime lovers.

"What's done in the dark will come to light," Danger said on a Los Angeles radio show. "You need to tell the truth. Tell the truth and shame the devil. Tell everyone you like d--k too. Just tell everybody."

But as soon as Brandy heard the rumors, she lashed back with some lines on her Twitter page reminiscent of her dueling duet "The Boy Is Mine."

"I need Danger to watch her tongue!!!" she wrote. "To say my brother is gay because he didn't return her calls is DUMB. Go get Help!!"

In response to the rumors, Ray J told radio station 92.1 in Richmond, Va., that while he is not gay, he has "love for gay people -- girls and dudes. I have friends who are gay, female and male. I'm not trippin' and I'm secure in my sexuality. I don't want people to think I like dudes because I don't, but at the same time I work in Hollywood and there are many gays who work here. I'm not going to bash the gay community ... they are some really good people."
