The Golden State Warriors will host its first "gay night" March 11, when Oakland, Calif.-based NBA team plays Portland's Trailblazers, OutSports.com reports.
The event, which has been organized by the San Francisco Gay Basketball Association and one of its member teams, the Rock Dogs, will include a national anthem performance by the Oakland East Bay Gay Men's Chorus and a halftime show by Cheer SF.
"It's great to see the Warriors embrace the event by having the gay groups perform during the game," OutSports's Cyd Zeigler wrote. "Kudos to everyone involved."
