Maggie Gallagher, former president of the National Organization for Marriage, expressed her belief that Judge Vaughn Walker will strike down California's anti-gay-marriage Proposition 8 via her Statement From Maggie on NOM's website.

"I expect Judge Walker will overrule Prop 8," Gallagher wrote Wednesday. "But millions of Americans do understand why marriage is the union of husband and wife, and I believe the majority of the Supreme Court will as well."
