Fight Back New York, the PAC focused on unseating state lawmakers who vote against equality, has launched a new online feature that allows users to select the senators they want to see voted from office.
Users of the tool Send 'Em Packin' may grab photos of up to three senators, Democrats and Republicans, they want unseated, and then drag the photos into suitcases.
According to Fight Back New York spokesperson Sarah Kennedy, the group also plans to announce a new target in real life next week. Fight Back New York worked this winter to unseat state Sen. Hiram Monserrate, one of eight Democrats who voted against the marriage equality bill.
"It's one down, and seven to go," said Kennedy to The Advocate. "With our next target we'll be running an aggressive campaign to send them home."
Send 'Em Packin' joins other online offerings from Fight Back New York, including the opportunity to vote on the future of Maggie Gallagher from the antigay National Organization for Marriage, and the chance to create perplexing phrases of the sort spoken by Sen. Ruben Diaz, Sr., the antigay Democrat from the Bronx.
