Tim Tebow made headlines during the superbowl when he and his mother appeared in a TV ad for the antigay group Focus on the Family. Now, Tebow is promoting something decidedly more risque -- underwear.
The pro football quarterback has signed a multiyear deal to serve as spokesperson for Jockey, a gig Jockey CEO Debra S. Waller says he landed in part because of his "positive attitude" and "admirable character."
"I'm excited to represent the Jockey brand and to work with such an innovative company," said Tebow. "I've long been a fan and consumer of Jockey, and think they make a quality product with a great fit. I'm looking forward to a great relationship with such a respectable company."
Tebow's ads will begin rolling out later this year.
