Despite jail time and a month-long stint in rehab, the first sign Lindsay Lohan might have a legitimate chance at saving her career comes with October's issue of Vanity Fair -- she's on the cover.
Lohan talks about the trial, rumors of her alcoholism, and why she'll stop at nothing to start making movies again.
"I don't care what anyone says. I know that I'm a damn good actress.... And I know that in my past I was young and irresponsible -- but that's what growing up is. You learn from your mistakes."
Lohan denies abusing alcohol and drugs -- "If I were the alcoholic everyone says I am, then putting a [SCRAM] bracelet on would have ended me up in detox, in the emergency room" -- and says simply she went down the wrong path because she was given way too much money and no structure at a young age.
The actress is also rumored to talk about her relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson in the interview. Ronson regularly visited Lohan in jail and rehab.
