As political pundits are busy critiquing Obama's Tuesday night address from the Oval Office, design enthusiasts are blogging about the room's new look.

Smith, who is gay, has been featured in Elle Decor, W, and Architectural Digest. On Tuesday the world got a look at his hard work -- new wallpaper, new sofas, new lamps.
