A group of youths attacked a man walking through a gay cruising area last week in the British seaside resort of Brighton.
According to the BBC, "The 51-year-old was approached by three teenagers near Dukes Mound at 0130 BST on Friday."
The BBC reports that the youths kicked the victim, who fell and broke his arm. The attacker spoke with an Irish suspect, and all three suspects were in their mid to late teens and dressed in dark jeans and hooded tops.
Police consider the attack to have been motivated by homophobia, and they are asking for a passerby who aided the victim to come forward.
