Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice might now be best known as the most likely member of the cast to push Bravo's Andy Cohen, but when it comes to her support for gay rights, Giudice insists she's completely serious.
Giudice talks to
Parade magazine
about those now-infamous reunion episodes, making peace with Danielle, and her work in support of gay rights, including a charity appearance last month in the off-Broadway play
My Big Gay Italian Wedding. "We have a lot of gay friends and support them in everything that they do. ... Believe me, I love everyone!" she says. "My best friends -- the people I trust the most -- are Catholic, Jewish, African-American, gay, tall, short, blonde ... you name it. I love people for their hearts, not their appearance or lifestyle."
When asked if she would be upset if one of her daughters grows up to be gay, she says, "Of course not. All I want is for my kids to be happy. I recently talked to Chris Colfer from
Glee and told him how much I loved him. What he's doing on his show is so brave and amazing. Love, love, love him."
