Business news channel CNBC recognized Spirit Day on Wednesday by turning purple across its programming, joining millions of others who honored the lives of LGBT youths lost to antigay bullying.
According to GLAAD, "Both behind the scenes and on-air, CNBC staff and anchors donned purple shirts, ties and ribbons to show their support for LGBT young people everywhere."
Nearly every anchor wore purple, including Melissa Francis, Larry Kudlow, and Trish Regan, the team from The Call.
Other participating networks included MTV Networks, E! and HGTV.
