Suspects Indicted in Stonewall Attack

Two men were charged with hate crime-related robbery and assault Tuesday in connection with an attack on a 34-year-old man in the bathroom of the Stonewall Inn in Manhattan last month.

Police say Matthew Francis, 21 (pictured, left), and Christopher Orlando, 17 (right), demanded money from the victim. Francis is accused of then punching the victim in the chest and face while Orlando blocked the bathroom exit, CNN reports.

In a separate hate-crime case that also occurred in New York last month, 25-year-old Frederick Giunta was charged Tuesday with attempted robbery and assault in an attack on a man in front of Julius, a West Village bar.
