A 29-year-old female schoolteacher faces jail after admitting to having sexual relations a 15-year-old female student, reports U.K. newspaper The Telegraph.

Louise Yeoman hid her face when she entered Leeds Crown Court, where she admitted to three charges of engaging in sexual activity with a child, involving touching the girl, and two charges of inciting her to engage in sexual activity. Yeoman also pleaded guilty to five charges of engaging in sexual activity with a child while in a position of trust.

Judge Peter Collier granted conditional bail for Yeoman and ordered her to register as a sex offender. The affair began in December 2008, when the student was 15, and continued through March 2010. Yeoman was teaching at a secondary school in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, in England. "The fact that I am giving you bail is no indication that a sentence will not be custodial," Judge Collier said. "All that is a matter for the judge you come before."
