Glee's Chris Colfer probably knew for months that the day would come when he'd kiss a guy. But as McKinley High's resident bully Dave Karofsky, Max Adler had no clue his character was gay until he read the script calling for him to kiss Kurt.
"I was as shocked as anybody else was," Adler tells MTV News. "It was a complete surprise."
Adler says Colfer is "the best actor I've worked with" and that while shooting the scene, the two knew it was going to become a pretty important moment.
"First time I've kissed a guy, and I'm glad it was Chris Colfer," he laughs.
