Elton Hasn't Been Asked to Do

Elton John would love to guest-star on Glee -- but he hasn't been asked.

The singer says he's a huge fan of the show and the cast, but as of yet, no one has approached him about doing a guest spot.

"I would love to be on Glee," John said, "but you have to be asked to be on Glee."

The doesn't mean Elton won't be working with members of the cast -- he just spent time in the recording studio with Glee star Matthew Morrison.

"I did a duet of 'Mona Lisas and Madhatters' and 'Rocket Man' with him last Monday," he said, "and that's going to come out in the spring and it sounds brilliant."
