Two-time Tony award-winner Patti Lupone wants to "wring the neck" of the person who has been impersonating her on Twitter, reports website Broadway.com.
"I don't have a Twitter account," LuPone says. "I don't have a Facebook page. And I will not have one in the near future. It's as if I've had my identity stolen!"
"LuPonePATTI" has been used by the impostor since January 10 to tweet about Broadway-themed topics, including digs at other performers such as Bernadette Peters, Glenn Close, Elaine Stritch, and Barbra Streisand.
"I'd like to meet this person and wring his or her neck," LuPone says. "And tell them to use their time in a more beneficial way. Like work for a charity instead of impersonating people!"
