Louis Marinelli, the ex-staffer of the National Organization for Marriage who recently announced he had reversed his position on same-sex marriage, has made his own video in support of equality.
Marinelli's video is similar to the Human Rights Campaign's New Yorkers for Marriage Equality series that has attracted supporters including New York senator Kirsten Gillibrand and Barbara Bush, daughter of President George W. Bush.
Though Marinelli told Good as You in an interview earlier this month that he still believes homosexuality to be wrong, he also said, "That doesn't give me or anyone else the right to prevent homosexuals from being homosexuals or to take away their constitutionally protected civil rights as American citizens. Marinelli further retracted much of his written work for NOM, including blogs and tweets, based on the research of thoroughly discredited antigay activists.
