The Flagstaff, Ariz., city council will begin drafting an LGBT civil rights ordinance, after a majority of members gave the go-ahead Tuesday, the Arizona Daily Sun reports.
Council members will probably not consider the ordinance, however, until they return from their summer recess in August, not wanting to bump other agenda items scheduled for discussion between now and June 1.
The ordinance will most likely prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity in employment, housing, public accommodations, and education, according to the Sun.
