Gay Couple Frees Coyote From Giant Mayonnaise Jar
A wild coyote pup whose head had been stuck in a large mayonnaise jar for at least a week was freed by a gay Seattle couple.
According to KSEE 24 News, Roel Garcia and his partner, Jeff Bryant, were unaware that the pup had been wandering around the area for days and that concerned locals and animal control were looking for it. The men were taking a break from working in their backyard when Garcia saw the animal approaching. It looked weak and the outline of its ribs were visible through its fur.
The animal got within a few feet of Bryant, Garcia said. "I doubt he could see anything through the jar, let alone smell or hear my partner."
When Bryant leapt up toward it, the coyote tried to run away. But when it fell, Bryant was able to catch the frightened animal and pull the jar off its head. The animal then ran away into the woods.
