An unofficial fan website for the Alabama Crimson Tide that sold a T-shirt calling Louisiana State University Tigers "Homoeauxs" has been pulled after an online fury over the shirts.
Towleroad reported on the shirt early Wednesday, in advance of the BCS National Championship game, scheduled for January 9. The shirt, which read, "Hey Homeauxs, We just beat the hell out of you, 24-10," was available at HeyHomeauxs.com. The site's name, like the shirt's wording, was a play on Louisiana's Cajun heritage. According to WhoIs.net, the website has been taken down by the registrant, identified as Chris Ivey.
