There's so much bad news and chaos out there that it's important to be reminded that good things are going on all around us. Case in point: Cycle for the Cause.

This 275-mile charity bike ride from Boston to New York City just wrapped, raising $2.1 million for HIV causes. Organized by New York's LGBT Community Center, the Cycle celebrated its 25th ride this year; over the course of its quarter-century, the endeavor has raised over $14 million for testing, services, education, and PrEP.

"We've made incredible strides in the fight against AIDS over the past few decades--but as long as the disease exists, we can't claim victory," said Glennda Testone, The Center's Executive Director. "The funds and awareness that Cycle for the Cause raises ensure that we can keep making progress, and strengthen our efforts to stamp out HIV and AIDS once and for all."
