Amanda Nunes, the UFC's first-ever out champion, wowed fans today by knocking out challenger Ronda Rousey in just 48 seconds.

The women's bantamweight championship mixed martial arts bout had been highly anticipated, with Rousey the former champion turning up the dramatics at the weigh in. She looked mad and went completely silent, having skipped media interviews leading up to UFC 207 in Las Vegas. Rousey was supposed to be incredibly focused and determined.

But Nunes sped right past all that and has now won five consecutive fights, including this the first challenge to her as champion. Watch Nunes' interview from inside the Octagon including highlights of the knockout below:
