Gay documentary filmmakers Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato (Inside Deep Throat, 101 Rent Boys) will participate in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences panel "Re-Enactments," about documentaries and the ethics of "representing reality," on Thursday, November 17, at the Academy's Samuel Goldwyn Theatre, 8949 Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills. Other directors on the panel will include Ross McElwee (Sherman's March, Bright Leaves), Stacy Peralta (Dogtown and Z-Boys, Riding Giants), Judy Richardson (Malcolm X: Make It Plain), and Werner Herzog (Grizzly Man).
