When a Kiss Is a Popemobile Protest

I think some people commenting here are ignoring the fact that Spain has a large and influential Catholic population that influences cultural and social mores, as well as the political, economic and legal system. A lot of gay folks in Spain are Catholics themselves, and they have every right to ask the leaders of their religious institution to accept them – or at least, to stop openly condemning them. Gay Muslims and Gay Jews want the same thing from their religious organizations; they just don't have a figurehead like the Pope to openly protest, but they also protest within their own institutions to make change. Why is it that so many of us are so quick to complain about these types of hypocritical organizations, but then we mock the individuals who actually try to make a difference within these institutions?

Get over it people, your problem is not the churches stance on homosexuality, it's against Catholicism, PERIOD. Funny how you NEVER hear a peep against the Jews or the Muslims. People, the Pope is jackass, he's so jealous because he doesn't have a boyfriend to share a sightseeing in his gay popemobile. His prejudice will bring him to the hell. He's the shame for the Catholic church.
