Anne Heche looking to do series, perhaps

Variety reports that occasional lesbian Anne Heche was so pleased with her experiences on Ally McBeal that she’s considering the idea of regular series duty. Networks have courted her for some time, apparently, but only after working on the David E. Kelley hit did she give the notion serious consideration. Meetings with network and studio heads will begin next month to find a suitable project. Meanwhile, Heche’s autobiography, Call Me Crazy, is due out in September.
