3 New Love Songs for Your Valentine's Day

Queer dance band Tayisha Busay is one of three LGBT groups to release special Valentine's Day related music videos with its newest creation, "Heartmeat/Lovemuscle."

Band member Brandon Lalavek describes this slow jam is an "homage to our loves past and present, as well as a defining moment as a band to learn how to breathe and let a song flow."

The video features Lalavek attempting to sign the words heartmeat and lovemuscle. This was added to the video after an active deaf lesbian community in Washington D.C. requested the songs be translated for a concert.

Rocco Katastrophe first released his video for "Eat Everything" with Out.com. The video was directed and filmed by transgender photographer Amos Mac and features Margaret Cho.

"It's my hope this track becomes an anthem for emo eaters everywhere," Katastrophe said. "Eat Everything" is from Katastrophe's upcoming album, Second Hand Emotion.

"Runaway" by Jessie and the Toy Boys is a track written from the heart. The song, available to download for free on the video's YouTube page, is about feeling pressure from society and their parents to be something they are not.

"The song is ultimately about breaking free and following your heart," Jessie said. "I wanted to make a music video that told a similar story in relation to gay marriage."

Jessie and the Toy Boys opened for Britney Spears last summer while she was on tour.
