Frank Ocean's soaring, stripped-down take on his hit "Thinkin' Bout You" at last night's VMAs was considered one of the strongest performances of the evening.

The hip-hop star recently won widespread admiration from both the LGBT community and the music industry when he came out in July. His debut VMA performance was one of most anticipated in advance of the program and he didn't disappoint. The somber version of the song showcased Ocean's stunning vocal range.
