WATCH: Is Bruce Jenner Going to Be a Grandma?

As the countdown continues to Bruce Jenner's upcoming reality series about his gender transition, stepdaughter Kim Kardashian is counting down as well, to the birth of her second child.

E! reports Kardashian revealed that she is expecting her second child with husband Kanye West in a tease that followed the mid-season finale of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

The clip showed Kim getting the news during a doctor's appointment shortly before telling sister Khloe Kardashian.

"I just got the blood test back, and I am pregnant!" Kim--who's seen beaming ear-to-ear--exclaims to her stunned sister.

No word at this point on the gender of the baby, but this does make their first born, daughter North West, a big sister.

And only time will tell if this also makes Bruce Jenner a grandmother, as he keeps under wraps details of his continuing transition. Recently on their E! series, Jenner showed off his homemade pedicure to Kim and she gave him fashion advice as the two sorted through his wardrobe of gender-appropriate clothing.

Jenner is already a grandparent to Francesca and Isabella Marino, daughters of his daughter Casey Jenner, and he is a step-grandparent to Kourtney Kardashian's three children with Scott Disick: Mason, 5, Penelope, 2 and baby Reign. Already in the mix of course is Kim Kardashian's daughter, North West, now almost two; Jenner's son, Brandon, and his daughter-in-law Leah, are also expecting a child, their first.

Rumors are swirling based on a report quoting sources in People magazine that the former Olympian will grace the cover of Vanity Fair this summer, and People quotes a source as saying legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz will be behind the lens.

The Advocate's calls to Vanity Fair to confirm the report were not returned.

Jenner's eight-part docuseries premieres July 26th, at 9 p.m. on E!
