The 19th annual Gay Days at Disneyland was a rousing success this weekend, despite some high temperatures and heavy crowds at both the flagship Anaheim, Calif., amusement park and the adjacent California Adventure. At Gay Days, thousands of queer Disney fans descend on the two parks to show pride, enjoy the rides, meet new friends, and gather for parties, lunches, brunches, screenings, and discussions — this year included conversations with everyone from Leslie Jordan to Alan Cumming to author Jim Colucci.
